Gender Controversy

So what do you think of this ?

Sarah Gronert, a 22-year-old pro from Germany, finds herself under scrutiny from her opponents and their coaches, who believe that a unique gender issue from birth should make her ineligible for the woman's tour.

Three years ago, those issues almost caused Gronert, ranked No. 619 in the world, to abandon her career. Gronert was born with male and female genitalia. After undergoing surgery, she's now medically certified as a woman. That's not good enough for some, though.

The issues surround the fact that has she been given an unfair advantage in playing sports?
Ir has the tennis society never moved out of the old days?

After all in one part of life we say all are equal and in the other part of the world- sports we still have gender bias and seperation. So funny we say kids play together, then they grow up to plkay sports serately and go into business as equal players.
Why??

Has she

Think about it at 19, the harsh words and treatment from peers almost led Gronert to retire. Instead, she underwent surgery to remove the male genitalia and, after a struggle with the WTA that needed a petition and special committee to resolve, was allowed to compete again.

Words you will hear when she wins ....

"This can not be. This is not a woman, it's a man. She does not have the power of a woman and no woman has such a technique," Tzoref said. "She serves like a man. It's very strange."

So whats your thoughst because bottom line is if she loses no one cares , if she wins the world cares.

So to me the hyprocrisy is not about the gender issue , its also about the false and fake cares we have only when some one wins.

Thoughts??
